On this website the applicant for a European Service Pass is explicitly requested to fill in personal and company details. In communicating these details to European Retail Services, such an applicant consents to the organisation, retaining and storing this data, to provide the applicant with the services which are required, to give effect to the applicant’s orders and to send the applicant certain communications relating to European Service Pass services or products, including administrative messages, as long as the applicant remains a European Service Pass holder. This data will be treated as strictly confidential and be used only for the purpose of operating the European Service Pass system.

The European Service Pass card will have a unique barcode which will be used, to source, from the database, whatever professional information is required by service providers, when booking travel, accommodation or other services, and for ordering tickets or, for entry to Trade Fairs.

This site includes a Service Platform for European Service Pass holders. This section is password-protected. Its features allow European Service Pass holders to view, update or modify their personal and company details.

Access to private and confidential data is limited solely to the staff of European Retail Services and those employees of the appropriate Special National Offices (SNOs) with a specific need to retrieve this information for the purpose of providing the requested services.

Data is stored on a dedicated server located in a secure facility and protected environment, not accessible to the public and accessible only under restrictions to the appropriate staff.

Applicants personal details are handled in accordance with the Protection of Privacy (Handling of Personal Data) Act (Royal Decree) of 8 December 1992.

Applicants will be responsible for the accuracy of the data which they provide. Any expense arising from the provision of wrong information by the applicant will be charged in full to the applicant.

The voluntary response by the applicant to market research surveys may be used to improve the product(s) and services of European Retail Services. It may also be used for aggregate reporting for internal and external providers.

Although European Retail Services will make every effort to preserve the privacy of the applicant, European Retail Services may be required by law to disclose certain personal information, when European Retail Services have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order, or legal process served on its website.
